We do not provide care. That means AlignLoom does not examine teeth, diagnose bite or alignment issues, take scans or impressions, prescribe treatment, or supervise treatment. We do not decide what care you need.

Only a licensed orthodontist can evaluate your teeth and bite in person, explain whether treatment may be appropriate, and recommend a plan based on your case.

• Retainers: $100-$500 per set

Insurance can lower out-of-pocket costs for some families, but coverage varies. Many dental plans that include orthodontic benefits have a lifetime maximum, often around $1,000-$3,000.

What we collect and how to use the service safely

AlignLoom's lead form is designed for contact details and basic intent only. For example, you may share your name, phone, email, ZIP code, preferred language, and whether you are asking for yourself or a child.

We do not ask for medical history, conditions, or health records in the matching form.

To use the service carefully and confidently:

1. Submit only the contact and preference details needed to request a match.
2. Review the orthodontist's credentials yourself and confirm that they are licensed in your state.
3. Ask questions at the consultation about treatment options, follow-up visits, retainers, total costs, and insurance.
4. Choose the provider you want. You are never required to start treatment.

Matching is free for families and adults who use AlignLoom. Participating orthodontists pay a flat fee to be listed for matching, but you choose who to see and whether to move forward.
